Kanye overtakes Jacko in top-40 stakes

Kanye West has stolen the spotlight from his wife, Kim Kardashian, for a day. He has overtaken Michael Jackson in chart history by scoring his 40th top-40 hit on the Billboard chart, the Daily Mail reported.The 39-year-old rapper features on ScHoolboy Q's new single The Part, which has climbed to number 40 on the Billboard 100.According to the Daily Mail, he had previously tied with both the late Thriller hitmaker and Big Girls Don't Cry singer Frankie Valli on 39 hits, but the latest track pushes him into the top 10 of most top-40 hits by a male artist."I would not be Kanye West if it weren't for Michael Jackson," he told BBC Radio One back in 2013."I was able to ascend to massive heights."And I've got to a point that Michael Jackson did not break through. I have reached the glass ceiling, as a creative person, as a celebrity, and I've been at it for 10 years."The top place on the charts is held by Elvis Presley with 80 top-40 hits, twice as many as West. ..
