Depp settles $7 million divorce with Heard

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have ended their acrimonious divorce battle, reaching a settlement for Heard to receive $7-million and drop her case. Heard, 30, filed documents yesterday in Los Angeles stating her intent to finalise the divorce. She had reportedly refused to accept an $8m deal, because Depp would not sign a document admitting domestic violence. He insists he was never abusive.The couple, who were married for 15 months, released a joint statement confirming the news.''Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love.''Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm.''Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity.''She does not specify what percentage, and which charity.On Monday photographs from Heard and Depp's divorce battle were leaked, showing a mirror with the words "Starring Billy Bob and Easy Amber" scrawled on it in blue paint and blood. Heard's team claims Depp flew into a jealous rage - drunk, high on ecstasy - and smashed glasses and windows, severing the tip of his finger and writing with it on the wall. ..
