Passion, love and intrigue will be on the menu this Friday when soulful crooner Donald hits the stage at his one-night-only Red Mic Xperience at Carnival City.The show, named after his signature red microphone, will take the audience on the musical journey that has made the North West singer an internationally recognised sensation."I'm targeting all the Donald fans that have been with me from day one with my very first album, Donald, and the fans that joined the journey through my other albums leading up to this point," said the singer, whose full name is Donald Moatshe.The I Deserve singer said as it is Women's Month he would like to treat his female fans to an unforgettable experience, and has enlisted local heart-throbs Riky Rick, NaakMusiq and DJ Shimza to help.Local female sensation Busiswa of Ngoku fame is one of the supporting acts, bringing in the element of girl power.Donald caused waves on social media when Empire stars Terrence Howard and Jussie Smollett took to Instagram to laud the award-winning singer and plug his upcoming show ."I didn't expect that amount of support considering that I only met Terrence and [Jussie] once when they visited SA recently."I was performing at the Empire VIP party and they loved the performance. Next thing I know Terrence is Facetiming me and showing love for RMX. It feels great and I appreciate all the support, local and internationally."As to whether we'll soon see a collaboration between him and some of the Empire cast, he simply says: "Maybe."The Red Mic Xperience will provide the first live DVD from Donald, whose latest album, Black & White 2.0 (DJ's Edition), is gunning for platinum status.The Red Mic Xperience takes place on Friday at Carnival City's Big Top Arena at 7pm.
