Anele Ngcongca has been quoted in the Belgian media as saying he has signed a four-year contract with Mamelodi Sundowns. But the player's representative claims "nothing has been finalised".Belgian football publication VoetbalNieuws quotes Ngcongca, who recently left Genk after the mutual termination of his contract, as saying: "I' ve signed a four-year contract with Mamelodi Sundowns." But Mike Makaab told The Times yesterday that this was not the case . yet."Honestly, nothing has been finalised," Makaab said.He said he hoped to have Ngcongca's future decided by today. As a free agent he is not bound by the transfer window, which slams shut tomorrow .Makaab had previously said Ngcongca was looking at options at home and abroad and would welcome a move to the Premier Soccer League if the right deal presented itself.PSL champions Sundowns are known to want to bring in another right-back and in Ngcongca would have the added bonus of a player who can cover the central defensive positions as well. The Bafana Bafana international, who has not played since being injured while on national team duty against Cameroon in March, has never played in the PSL before.Ngcongca was taken straight from then National First Division side FC Fortune to Genk in 2007, where he would spend the next nine seasons. He has not been included in the national team squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritania at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Friday and the Nelson Mandela Challenge against Egypt at Orlando Stadium, Soweto, on Tuesday. ..
