Yeezus gear outsells the pope

American rapper Kanye West, aka Yeezus/Yeezy, this week dethroned Pope Francis, in the realm of the cloth, with his Life of Pablo merchandise out-selling the pope's by more than $240000. The controversial rapper, who has likened himself to God - he has a song titled I am A God - sold $780,000 in souvenir gear at his Saint Pablo concert at Madison Square Garden in New York .The 39-year-old sold Saint Pablo tour hoodies, baseball caps and T-shirts. However, the pontiff gave the performer a run for his money, selling rosary beads, crucifixes and baseball caps at a September 2015 Mass attended by 20,000 people.Yeezy was performing to 20,000 people as part of his Saint Pablo tour to promote The Life of Pablo. ..
