Awesome threesome to perform at MAMAs
Fans should get ready for the ultimate musical threesome next month, as the continent's best come together on stage. Organisers of the 2016 MTV Africa Music awards have announced that Tanzanian artist Diamond and Nigerian artist Patoranking will join South African rappers Emtee and Kwesta to perform at this year's awards ceremony.They will join other continental artists such as Alikiba (Tazania), Ycee and Yemi Alade (Nigeria) and South Africa's Babes Wodumo, Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C who will all be performing on the MAMAs stage next month.The event will honour artists and various personalities from across the continent. The second phase of nominees in the categories artist of the year, best female, listener's choice, best breakthrough, best francophone, song and video of the year will be announced in Lagos on October 2. The award ceremony will be hosted by The Daily Show frontman Trevor Noah, at the TicketPro dome on October 22. ..
