Desperation is both a blessing and a curse for the Springboks ahead of their Rugby Championship clash with Australia, says Wallabies skills coach Mick Byrne. The 58-year-old said that a three-match losing streak as well as playing at home will make the Springboks desperate for a win when they meet the Aussies at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday. "The Springboks' biggest advantage is that they are playing at home. One thing about any Springbok team is their physicality."A desperate Springbok team is a dangerous Springbok team, we are totally aware of that," said Byrne. But he believes that their eagerness to finally click could also prove to be the Boks' Achilles heel come Saturday ."Sometimes the challenge is when you get a bit too desperate and try a bit too hard." ..
