Brides sell their gowns to prevent child marriages

Brides do Good has announced the launch of its bridal e-tailer. Brides do Good invites brides to sell their designer wedding gowns and receive a third of the sale price back. A third goes towards operating the website, and a third to Plan International and Too Young To Wed, a charity trying to eradicate child marriage by 2030.Said founder Chantal Khoueiry: "I started thinking about the millions of wedding gowns sitting in boxes a nd then my mind went to the millions of girls forced into early marriage and a life of violence. " ..
