Don't overthink it - take the ride and embrace the objectification.

This was the advice Miss Nude SA had for women in modelling and those wanting to explore their bodies.

Nikki du Plessis, a former Playboy Playmate, will be greeting visitors to Sexpo - the country's biggest health, sexuality and lifestyle show - next week.

The 26-year-old Cape Town model said she loves being naked.

"My advice is to go with the flow and take the ride; there's nothing to be ashamed of. Embrace the objectification in a good way . accept it," she said.

In 2012 Du Plessis was listed among the Top 100 sexiest women in the world by the South African edition of FHM. She was Miss April 2014 as a Playmate for Playboy SA and was also published in Playboy Netherlands.

Du Plessis admitted that some people might see her as a "sex object".

"In this industry you need to realise that people will objectify you; it's part of the process, it comes with the territory. You shouldn't overthink it."

As Miss Nude SA Du Plessis will "mingle" with those attending the expo although not necessarily nude.

Du Plessis said her favourite nude beaches were in Miami, in the US, where she felt "free and relaxed".

But she said there were misconceptions about what she does.

"I receive a lot of e-mails from random people who want to book me for private sessions or strip shows. I don't do that so I don't even answer those. I also get a lot of lewd pictures on Facebook - it's gross . I'm not a prostitute."

She's comfortable with her body and embraces who she is.

Du Plessis' advice to women was to get out of their comfort zone and learn more about their body.

"Experiment with your body, whether it's with a partner or not . maybe dress a little more risqué. Or do a nude photoshoot."

Sexpo will be held at Nasrec, Johannesburg, from October 27-30.
