A man has been arrested for dressing as a tree and standing in the middle of the road in Portland, Maine. Police thought the spectacle was an art project, as people were stopping to take pictures, but when the foliage was removed from his head, the culprit was revealed to be Asher Woodworth, 30.He told police he wanted to see how dressing up as a tree and standing in the middle of the road would "affect people's natural choreography".Pictures were retweeted thousands of times on Twitter as people expressed their amusement at the bizarre crime.Local media said the man was charged with obstructing a public way, but is out on bail after paying $60 (about R900).Police didn't arrest him straight away; they asked for his name and gave him a warning, but he refused to co-operate and continued to block the road. ..
