The annual Thando Thabethe Women's Day Netball Challenge which took place on Tuesday was nothing short of a star-studded affair, which saw celebs take a stand against violence against women.
In the lead up to the game yesterday Thando also launched a powerful social media campaign called #TakeBackYourPower, which saw the likes of Khanya Mkangisa and Manaka Ranaka stand up for the cause.
"This may not be my story, but I stand in solidarity and encourage you to do the same #TakeBackYourPower. Today I will be taking part in the Thando Thabethe Netball Challenge, this is to raise awareness and to hopefully raise funds to women and kids who have been abused. Let us take cherish and take care of our women, as we are nothing without them," said Khanya.
Thando thanked all the powerful ladies who took part in her initiative and for taking a stand against women abuse.
"All stories in the campaign. Are REAL STORIES, they may not belong to the lady holding it up...but we stand in solidarity as we choose not to allow others or our circumstances define us," she said.
