Unathi Msengana to Gareth Cliff: I love you
On Monday Gareth Cliff announced that he would be leaving Idols after 11 seasons as a judge on the show.
2016 proved to be a dramatic year for Gareth, who was fired by M-Net for comments he made during the Penny Sparrow race debacle.
Gareth took the matter to court and won, which obviously made for a awkward working environment.
With his big bosses though, not his fellow judges.
Soon after the announcement Unathi Msengana posted a snap of herself with Gareth.
"I say to him 'Babey come sit here and take a pic! Phela this could have been our wedding day with uMswenko wakho nam' he says 'Aaaah thanks Unaths' as he's always called me! I love you! Always have and ALWAYS will! I love you TLIFF!"
In his post on Instagram where he also posted his resignation announcement, Unathi commented: "I love you".
