Dutch free men held at airport as terrorism suspects
Two Yemeni men arrested at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport under suspicion of terrorism have been freed without charge after triggering a 24-hour trans-Atlantic security scare, Dutch prosecutors said on Wednesday.
The men were arrested after the US Department of Homeland Security said US authorities had found suspicious items in their luggage, but a US official later cast doubt that the men were part of a terrorism plot.
