Obama launches tasty missile
US President Obama launched a marshmallow missile across the State Dining Room.
The air cannon device was engineered for the White House Science Fair by an 8th grader named Joey from Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
President Obama was inspired by the collective efforts of the young people he met at the fair.
"It is young people like you," said Obama, "that make me so confident that America's best days are still to come.
"When you compete in something like this you are not just trying to win a prize today, you are getting America in a shape to win the future."
