US cop planned to shoot Michelle Obama: report

A police officer in the US capital Washington was being investigated over alleged plans to kill First Lady Michelle Obama, it was reported on Friday.
The officer, who had worked as a White House security motorbike escort, was reportedly overheard threatening to shoot the president's wife, before retrieving a picture on his mobile phone of the weapon he would use, reports the Washington Post daily.
He was moved to administrative duty on Wednesday, hours after allegedly making the comments, the newspaper wrote. President Barack Obama's Secret Service bodyguards were also investigating the allegation.
