Pupil puts balls in football pitch, penis causes graduation-day headache

A Florida high schooler was banned from his graduation - for engraving a giant penis into the football field.

Nature Coast Technical High School was setting up the stage for graduation when they noticed that a big penis was drawn across the width of the school's football stadium, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

It was evidently not suitable for the ceremony.

Principal Tori-Ann Noyes quickly figured out it was perpetrated by a senior using weed killer on the field about two weeks earler.

"I was very disappointed that someone would do this and not think of the other students and the families that would have to look at this," she told the paper.

While she believes the student "didn't think of the ramifications" of his artwork, he wasn't allowed to go to the ceremony and his family are expected to foot the bill for the damage.

The school has, as a short term solution, resorted to green spray paint to cover the penis. Apparently workers also painted 2014 onto the field to help mask it.
