Flights suspended as woman drives car onto runway

All flights from Brisbane Airport Corporation have been delayed following a security incident.

A spokesperson for the airport confirmed that all arrivals and departures have been suspended while the Australian federal Police respond to a security matter.

A report by ABC news said that a car was driven through a fence onto the tarmac of the runway. A female driver was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Some planes are being redirected to the Gold Coast airport.
