Priest takes a hard stance after porn star films in church

Police are seeking a pornstar in Austria after she filmed two porn movies in a church, and made them available for download.

The Austrian Times reports that a Hoersching Catholic Priest was shocked to discover two porn movies have been shot in his church.

According to the report the the videos show the dark-haired woman initially wearing jeans and a white blouse holding a rosary in one hand and the Bible in the other as the house of God is turned into a house of sin.

Needless to say he hadn't given permission for the productions, and reported it to the police.

According to Austria's The Local news website the pornstar, who goes by the name Babsi, and her crew could be charged under Section 189 of the Criminal Code, which prohibits creating “mischief” which is liable to cause legitimate nuisance in a church or religious community.

If found guilty of this offence, the pornographers could face a stiff fine, or six months behind bars.

Meanwhile the local diocese is considering how to go about restoring the church's dignity, and says "The sacraments which were celebrated in the past few weeks in the parish church are still considered valid."
