A man in the United States allegedly made his 10-month-old granddaughter take the ice bucket challenge with him, according to a report.

Reggie Stewart posted the video in Facebook which showed the child sitting in a walker by his feet, the Huffington Post reported.

He then started to nominate others for the challenge before adding that his granddaughter would be doing the challenge with him.

Stewart then picked up the bucket that was supposedly filled with ice water and proceeded to dump it on himself and the 10-month-old baby.

The video ends before you can see the child’s reaction but it seems that the majority of the water was dumped on her.

The child’s father, Claude Dalcour, told Houston Fox 26 that, when he saw the video, he was shocked. “It brought me to tears, like I was hurt, angry. That's all I can say."

He added that what was done to his daughter by his father-in-law was abuse because the child didn’t know what was happening.

Dalcour filed a complaint on Thursday with local law enforcement in Houston.
