A British Columbia man has tweeted a picture of the delivery failure notice left by a postal worker explaining why he didn't deliver a package to is porch.

According to UPI the postal worker had ticked the box on the notice marked other, and filled in "bear at door."

The package was left in his mailbox up the street instead.

"Ok, fair enough @canadapostcorp that's a decent reason to not drop the package off at my door," @IamFane posted on twitter.

Canada Post apparently wanted to follow up on the report, but  @IamFane said he was perfectly happy with the service.
