A Christian family band has been arrested, following a deadly gunfight outside a Walmart parking lot in Arizona.

The Gaver family - including Peter Gaver, 55, and his sons, Jeremiah, 29, and Nathaniel, 27, all from the small-time Christian band Matthew 24 Now were among nine of the suspects arrested, after a shootout with police according to the Christian Post.

The band's name is a reference to Jesus speaking about the end of times in the Bible.

According to the report, Cottonwood police officers were called to to the local Walmart after an employee was assaulted in an encounter with the family.

When the cops arrived, the family shot one of them in the leg.

One of the suspects, Enoch Gaver was killed after shooting at police, while a second was seriously wounded.

The band, which won't do any events with 'illegal drugs' or 'promiscuity' - are now facing charges of aggravated assault, attempted homicide, obstruction and resisting arrest.
