British politician outed as porn baron, or is it porn baron outed as British politician?

The UK Independence Party's local elections just got hard, Johnny Rockard.

Apparently John Langley, one of the hard right party's candidates for Bristol's city council is a porn baron known as "Johnny Rockard" according to The Telegraph.

Meanwhile the New Statesman says that Johnny Rockard has been outed as UKIP candidate John Langley.

"This is no big deal. It is just electioneering and it is the type of thing you expect in the run up to any election," Langley, who has been in the porn business for 30 years, said.

“What people do in the privacy of their own homes is nothing to do with politics and I cannot see why there should be any problem with any of this,” Langley said.

The party is standing up for its candidate, saying that, “Nothing is being hidden."

According to the BBC last year Langley appeared in a documentary at a Bristol University campus in which he was seen trying to recruit students into the porn industry.
