Isidingo actor Motlatsi Mafatshe has spilled the tea on how he got a stinging klap from Pitch Afro Black after the hip-hop and kwaito star's wig was snatched.

Motlatsi, who has been in the industry for over a decade told Metro FM's DJ Fresh that the wheels nearly came off during the early days of his career when he was caught in the middle of a fight.

The actor said it all went down while he was still a student at Afda and attended a party  for the Oscar-winning film Tsotsi where one of his friends got into an argument with Pitch Black Afro.

"It was nice, the celebs are happy. Everybody, I think, is drunk there and my friend snatches Afro's hair. A fight starts and I'm in the middle. I am going, 'Guys! What's happening?' and then suddenly whoosh."

Motlatsi said Pitch Black Afro landed a hot slap on his cheek and before he knew it he was being escorted out of the building in a lift to avoid the media.

He said at that moment he thought his career was done.

"Now I want to break into this industry but, eish, now my chance is gone."

Luckily, he lived to tell the tale and things have not gotten that wild for him in recent years. Now Motlatsi is a lot quieter and more focused on his family.

"When people meet me they think I am boring. I am not out and about. I am not an introvert but I prefer to keep quiet and mind my own business," he told TshisaLIVE last month.

He told Metro FM's Rams Mabote earlier this year that he didn't really consider himself a celebrity and was more worried about impressing his children than anyone in the industry.
