The gloves are off in the battle between reality TV sangomas Makgotso “Gogo Maweni” Mokopo and Patricia “Gogo Skhotheni” Motsoeneng.

This after Maweni went live on Instagram with Inno Morolong and Musa Khawula and made snarky comments about Skhotheni.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Skhotheni said Maweni suggested she was using her children in traditional rituals.

“She spoke about my son who is sick and admitted to hospital for about 12 months. I've shared my son's journey on social media, he was born prematurely. She went live and spoke about me and my body and I don't care about that, and then she went and said mina ngi twele nga bantwana bam, hence my son is sick. I let it go until she kept on going live and talking about me with her friends.

Responding to the comments, Skhotheni said she was not afraid of Maweni and suggested she solve the issues with her traditionally instead of going live on social media.

“I'm not afraid of you with all that you have. If you want to scare me by going around talking about me, get into the ndumba and deal with me if you [have] a problem with me, don't go making noise on social media. You went too far mentioning my children, knowing very well you have your own children. Don't disrespect me Maweni. When you get 'drunk' you think of me, talk about me, not my children,” Skhotheni said in a live video.

On Thursday a video of Maweni alleging Skhotheni's husband is bisexual circulated on social media.

Skhotheni repeated that she wants Maweni to stop talking about her family.

“I said I am not scared of her, be it traditional or as a human being. She spoke about my husband, saying I played with my husband. She went on and said my husband is bisexual and in that department, if he is, why would it be her problem? My husband sleeps with me and not her. I love my husband and he loves me too, so she must just rest and live her life and back off from my family,” she told TshisaLIVE.

Maweni shared a text message she sent to Skhotheni after she sent her residential address.

“I put this to bed the day I blocked you everywhere and deleted your number. I honestly feel this could have been sorted out in an amicable manner but you chose to lie about me to people I befriended before you, hence I'm still cordial towards them. If you had issues with me you should have spoken to me like an adult.”
