Tymon Smith was the books editor of the Sunday Times from 2008 to 2014. Since 2014 he has worked as features writer, focused mainly on culture and arts. He is the film and series critic for the Sunday Times and the winner of the 2019 English Academy of South Africa Thomas Pringle Award for reviews.
