Israel has more than one million Arab citizens, all of whom enjoy full civic rights.
The Palestinians of the West Bank and Gaza are not citizens of Israel. They are avowed enemies of the Jewish state and make no secret of their wish to throw it into the sea.
Any restrictions imposed on them by Israel are self-defence measures.
By the way, dear Tutu, while you go begging, please ask the kidnappers of Gilad Shalit to let him go free, or at least let the Red Cross visit him and make sure that he is alive and well.
