I FIND it very strange and very annoying that every transaction of an African is put on the front page of our white-man-controlled newspapers.
Take "No expense spared" (October 30, page 3). Tenders are on the front page for everyone to see; (Roux) Shabangu's leases with the government are there for every Tom, Dick and Harry to see.
Why don't these honourable journalists and their editors list everyone who does business with the government? Is doing business with the government right for a section of South Africans and very wrong for "blacks"?
Whites and Indians get billions of rands from properties rented to the South African government, and no one says anything. Are so-called "blacks" not South African?
Are they not supposed to benefit from available government tenders? Maybe the main fight is not about these tenders, but true ownership of the country.
They have boats, jets, beach houses and every expensive thing you can think of, and nobody questions where they got the money to obtain all these expensive items. Don't we deserve good things when we have worked hard for them?
