It looks like there is no stopping Jacob Zuma from going for his second term .

If the numbers are to be believed , he enjoys massive support from most ANC members and no one even comes close.

From the day he was elected in Polokwane five years ago, he knew that to retain his power and relevance in the next election, he should never alienate any of the alliance partners and always behave like a true and loyal servant of the movement.

The saying "amandla ase masebeni" (power lies with the branches) is what got him ahead of everyone.

Zuma is arguably the most controversial ANC leader in history, yet he is about to achieve a landslide victory.

I am a democrat and I subscribe to the notion that "the majority have their way, even if they got it wrong".
