I don't think it will be prudent to take more taxes from the rich. They need to be taxed fairly ("Should the rich pay more tax?", yesterday).

Obviously, if the rich are taxed more they will find a channel to move their investment vehicles where they will be taxed fairly.

South African banks will suffer in terms of weaker deposits, and that can affect the overall economy.
