I think if ‘porn star style’ waxing helps woman (and men) maintain a healthy and happy sex life then it should be emulated.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow admitted that she "rocks a 70s vibe down there" should be asked how often does she wash after going to urinate or does she wipe her urine all over her public hairs.

This urine contains certain toxic chemicals i.e. urea which when exposed to air and confined to the region causes the bacteria to react and a bad odour.

Also during menstruation the "pad" which absorbs the blood can stick to the hairs and become a nuisance to remove. Again if not removed soon will cause bacteria to collate and infections and or bad odour to permeate.

So if hygiene is to be maintained regular washing after expulsion of body waste becomes a necessity.

Wiping with dry toilet paper will not lessen the bacteria from reacting and infections or bad odours to permeate.

Porn stars enjoy their sex (I assume, as I have not met any porn stars) because of high hygiene standards.
