The BPI Foundation on Tuesday presented this year's BPI lecture, titled “Whither a democratic dividend or demographic disaster: what is to be done?”, at Unisa's Pretoria campus.
The main speaker at the dialogue was former statistician-general Prof Pali Lehohla and it was moderated by Sunday Times deputy editor Mike Siluma. Other panellists were:
- academic Theuns Eloff;
- Inclusive Society Institute CEO Daryl Swanepoel;
- the National Planning Commission's former head of secretariat Kefiloe Masiteng; and
- development economist Nthabiseng Moleko.
