Hail warning for Gauteng after cloudburst in Limpopo

Weather forecasters have issued a watch for severe thunderstorms in Gauteng on Monday. The warning comes after large hailstones fell in the Hoedspruit and Burgersfort areas of Limpopo on Sunday.“Watch out for large hail & damaging winds. Severe storm warning in effect across Gauteng from noon to 11pm on Monday‚” the Gauteng weather office cautioned.@tweathersa also asked the public to take all necessary precautions. These include parking undercover and trying not to be on the road during the expected downpours.Photographs of the dramatic downburst in Limpopo on Sunday have been circulating on Facebook and Twitter‚ posted by members of the public‚ which show hail the size of golf balls and even tennis balls...
