Krejcir prosecutor asks 'What happened to Dennis Krejcir? Where is he now?'

A pending investigation might see the number of accused in the Radovan Krejcir murder trial increase‚ as his son has been fingered as one of the other co-conspirators.This was heard at the Johannesburg High Court on Wednesday. State prosecutor Lawrence Gcaba in reply to an application for full disclosure by the defence said he was not at liberty to name all the other co-conspirators as an investigation was still on-going. But Gcaba was willing to name the son of Krejcir who allegedly had a helping hand in the murder of Lebanese national Sam Issa.Speaking outside the court Gcaba said: “I can't name them all‚ look at what happened to Dennis Krejcir. Where is he now?”The last that was heard of Dennis was him fleeing South Africa and going back to the Czech Republic after the arrest of his father.Phindi Louw of the National Prosecuting Authority said the outcome of the investigation would determine whether the other co-conspirators would be joining Krejcir and his four cohorts or tried separately.Krejcir's current cohorts are Siboniso Miya‚ Nkanyiso Mafunda‚ Siphiwe Memela‚ and Luybomir Borislavov Grigorov‚ who are all implicated in the murder of Issa.The five men are also facing charges of conspiracy to perform a robbery‚ two charges of conspiracy to murder and of possession of an illegal firearm and ammunitionThe matter was postponed to May 23...
