Elephant writes off ANC man's BMW X5 - report
An elephant has reportedly made a sacked ANC municipal manager's life even harder after it collided with his BMW X5 on the Mica-Hoedspruit Road in Limpopo over the weekend.According to the Letaba Herald‚ the car is believed to have belonged to former Mopani municipal manager Tim Maake.Maake was fired from the municipality earlier this year after a disciplinary committee found him guilty of 18 charges‚ including gross negligence‚ gross misconduct‚ gross dereliction of duties and gross dishonesty emanating from the contravention of several sections of the Municipal Finance Management Act and Municipal Supply Chain Management Act‚ according to another Letaba Herald report.Nobody was injured in the incident.
