The N2 between Cape Town and the city’s international airport is closed in both directions due to protests‚ Cape Town FMS confirmed in a tweet. It then spilled over to the N2. The protesters burnt tyres and started stoning vehicles. Saps and other law enforcement agencies were called to the scene. The protestors then captured two buses which were on the traffic and set them alight. There were also several injuries during the protest. We do not know the reason for the protest at this stage‚" he said...
