Fast rides, deciphering complicated questions and understanding car culture. Yup, that's what the motoring podcast Cargumentative offers.

Headed by Sunday Times motoring journalist Thomas Falkiner, Cargumentative offers insightful car talk that even non-motorists can easily understand.

Cargumentative is published every Monday and is around 45 minutes long.

Along with Falkiner comes a knowledgeable (and funny) squad in the form of Mark Poluta, Mike Salomon and Nadav Radid.

Whether you're wanting the latest car news and reviews or help with general car niggles, these are the guys for you.

Tiso Blackstar's multimedia head Scott Peter Smith says tapping into the wealth of stories from journalists within the company has been a strategic move.

"We have already shown that our audience wants audio and its our job to keep developing shows that not only give them new insights into our country but entertain, inform and personalise the issues," he said.

Smith said the company will be focusing on producing more podcasts that appeal to the diverse readers who are consuming content from Tiso Blackstar Group titles.

"Over the next year, we'll be adding even more weekly and special podcasts from Business Day, Financial Mail, Sebenza and even some limited series that unpack the issues, working with a journalist telling the story not only in a fresh way but gaining a whole new audience," he added.
