To mark five years since the passing of Paul Walker, the Fast and Furious actor is being remembered in a 90 minute documentary on his life and achievements.

Virgil Films first aired its hour-long documentary I Am Paul Walker in the USA in August, but has now released a longer and more in-depth version available via services such as Amazon and iTunes.

The actor, who tragically died in a road accident on 30 November, 2013, is best known for his role as Brian O'Conner in the Fast and Furious movie franchise about street racing. He starred in six of the instalments but died in the middle of filming Furious 7 (2015).

The new documentary takes a look at Walker's life and his love for motor racing, cars (he owned a collection of about 30 vehicles), marine biology, and his non-profit organization "Reach Out Worldwide." Interviewed are some of Walker's closest friends, family members, and former co-stars including Tyrese Gibson and Fast and the Furious director Rob Cohen.

"We are thrilled that Paul's story will be shared even further with his fans - those he was always very grateful to," his brother Caleb Walker said of the documentary's release.  "The timing of the documentary's digital launch on November 30, the fifth anniversary of Paul's passing, is a fitting tribute to his legacy."

Walker, aged 40, died as a passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT driven by his friend Roger Rodas. Both men died when the car crashed into a telephone pole and burst into flames.
