On Wednesday TimesLIVE took a helicopter trip to inspect the damage caused by the wildfires along the Garden Route.
Meanwhile, forensic investigator David Klatzow said that last week’s simultaneous fires, which started at the same time‚ "raises a big red flag" and suggests "deliberate agency.
But when asked for comment about the cause of the fires‚ James-Brent Styan - spokesman for the MEC of Local Government‚ Environmental Affairs and Development Planning - said it is unlikely that they will ever know the cause of the fires.
He said arson was not suspected or being investigated
