The glittering ceremony in the Italian city of Trieste lived up to the sparkle of the family business.

The bride arrived at the nuptials at the Cathedral of San Giusto on the arm of her father, Paul Swarovski, with an 8m train trailing her.

The seven bridesmaids wore matching blue halterneck floor-length gowns.

About 250 guests attended the nuptials. Male guests were asked to wear white suits; women scarlet gowns.

After tying the knot, the couple celebrated at the five-star Hotel Falisia, in Portopiccolo, dining at Maxi's Restaurant with views across the Mediterranean.

They cut a five-tier wedding cake, trimmed with gypsophila blossoms, and an enormous firework display marked the end of the meal.

Then everyone "slipped into something more comfortable" for a lavish party.

But the celebrations didn't stop there - the newlyweds hosted three days of events, including a red-and-white-themed ball.

Internet star Victoria is well-known as a singer in her native Austria and cut her first record at the age of 17.
