Loud explosion, gunfire in Somali capital: witnesses

A loud blast struck the Somali capital's commercial and administrative district on Sunday sending a plume of black smoke into the sky, Reuters witnesses said.

Gunfire immediately rang out in Mogadishu's 'Kilometre 4' neighbourhood. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
