SA soldiers repel deadly ambush in Dafur

Members of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) deployed in Sudan as part of the UN-African Union hybrid mission repelled a deadly ambush by rebels in the Darfur region on Sunday morning‚ the SANDF said in a statement. One South African soldier was killed in the attack while another was seriously wounded‚ it said.
