According to New Zimbabwe, Mujuru said although she had been wronged by her former boss, she did not hold "grudges". She said those who wronged her might have done so under "intoxicating substances".
Mujuru was fired from Mugabe's government and the ruling Zanu-PF party about 14 months ago.
Her ousting came after a campaign by the president's wife Grace, who accused her of fomenting party division and plotting to topple Mugabe.
Following her sacking, Mugabe boldly accused Mujuru of practising and dabbling in voodoo.
Mugabe claimed that Mujuru performed the alleged rituals while "topless with breasts hanging".
During the launch of her new political party, the Zimbabwe People First, in Harare on Tuesday, Mujuru said she was going to forgive all those who made "imaginative allegations", as she did not "harbour" anger.
"… I know others said those things under the influence of toxic substances, so it is not anything that pays anybody to repeat certain things. We have more important things to talk about and take the country forwards," Mujuru was quoted as saying.
Reports claimed that suspicion, excitement and bitterness greeted the former vice president as she addressed the media.
She was critical of Mugabe's ruling Zanu-PF party.
Mujuru said her party would fight an "unjust system" which "has stolen the people's hopes for the future".
Mujuru served as vice president under long-time ruler, Mugabe for 10 years.
