South African kidnapped in Nigeria - DIRCO not officially informed yet: report

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation in Pretoria says it has not been informed officially of any South African kidnapped in Nigeria on Wednesday‚ but is aware of reports of an attack on an international company's employees.According to an AFP report‚ quoting the Nigerian police‚ three foreign nationals — two Australians and a South African — as well as two Nigerians were kidnapped in the country’s southeast after their vehicle was attacked.
