They would systematically break down doors in poor suburbs of Harare and commit at least one rape. They broke many bones as well.

This is the account by a Zimbabwean soldier of what transpired after the brutally straightforward order was issued - in the wake of anti-government protests - to find opposition activists and “punish them”.
