South African Fortnite fans and players are in for a treat in November and December, as local tournament organizer African Cyber Gaming League (ACGL), in partnership with, MSI, Antec, Redragon, and Crucial, has announced the final Fortnite Mythic Royale event of the year. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Mythic Royale featuring Fortnite.

Fortnite Mythic Royale Solos details

This time around, the Mythic Royale is a Solos battle royale tournament. This means you don't need to gather a team to enter, which is great for the lone wolves out there. It features a prize pool of R10,000 and will feature four qualifiers over the course of two weekends, followed by a finale, where the qualified players will fight for their share of the prize pool.

Check out the schedule for all four qualifiers and the finals below. Please note that the times are all in SAST.

The schedule:

The top 24 players from each qualifier will secure a spot in the finals, where they will duke it out for a top-eight finish and therefore, a share of the prize pool.

Entry into the Fortnite Mythic Royale Solos tournament qualifiers is completely free. Despite free entry, the R10,000 prize pool awaits those who are skilled enough.

Prize pool distribution:
  • 1st place - R4,000
  • 2nd place - R2,000
  • 3rd place - R1,500
  • 4th place - R1,000
  • 5th place - R600
  • 6th place - R400
  • 7th place - R300
  • 8th place - R200

For those who don't make it to the finale, you can still watch all the action. The finals will be streamed live on ACGL’s YouTube channel, so don't miss out. For every match you complete on the ACGL site, you secure Embers, which can be used to enter giveaways on the ACGL website, so even if you don't think you have a chance of winning, there's still a chance of getting an awesome prize.

As always, if you are interested in local esports action, you should follow ACGL on TwitterFacebook, as well as join their Discord server. Use the hashtag #MythicRoyale on social media to join the conversation.
