Home of South Africa's national flower‚ the King Protea‚ is at risk from climate change

The Cape Floral Kingdom in South Africa as well as the canal city of Venice and Britain's mystic Stonehenge in Europe are all at risk from climate change‚ according to a joint United Nations report. The UN says that 31 natural and cultural World Heritage sites in 29 countries across the world are becoming increasingly vulnerable to the effects of the environment.
