A seven-year-old boy has earned more than $22m (about R300m) this year by reviewing toys. 

Ryan's YouTube channel Ryan ToysReview has more than 17-million subscribers and he came first in Forbes's ranking of this year's 10 highest-paid YouTubers in the world.

The Daily Mail reports that Ryan's videos have become so successful that he now even has his own line of toys.

His line of toys includes a Giant Mystery Egg, which is filled with different toys including slime, lights and a limited edition squishy toy.

His most popular video has 1.6-billion views. In it, Ryan opens a giant Disney Pixar Lightning McQueen Easter egg that is filled toy planes and toy cars.
