Car hits man under tree in KwaZulu Natal

A man was hit by a car and killed while sitting under a tree in Pietermaritzburg on Thursday, said ER24.

The driver lost control of the car at the corner of Loop and Commercial street. It hit the man under the tree and pushed him up against a fence. He was declared dead on the scene.

Banks said the driver sustained minor injuries.
