Mbombela corruption case postponed

Six people accused of corruption in the building of the Mbombela stadium in Mpumalanga appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate's Court on Monday, the Hawks said.

Captain Paul Ramaloko said the matter was postponed until April 22.

The accused are Kaizer Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung, Jacob Dladla, Tebogo Kubeka, Herbert Thelebi, Lefika CEO Christiaan Grib and Micheal Romanos.

They face charges of fraud and corruption related to tenders issued for the building of the stadium.
