Two found dead in Vereeniging

Two men were found dead near a factory in Vereeniging on Monday, Gauteng police said.

Brigadier Anton du Bruyn said the men's bodies were found naked next to the factory fence.

"The deceased bodies had bruises all over and had open wounds as well on the upper bodies. The clothes of the deceased were torn apart and some were hanging on the razor wire of the company."

He said security guards on duty alleged there were three people on the premises during the night and that they chased them until they vanished in the dark.

"Police searched... around the scene but could not find anything," he said.

The cause of death was not known and no arrests have been made.
